Daniel Musisi is a seasoned DJ who seamlessly combines classic funk and soul beats with the latest top 40 crowd pleasers to keep the dance floor packed. A member of FunkDC and cofounder of TrueGrooves record label, Daniel Musisi has been DJing in the Washington DC area for over ten years. Under the moniker “Moose”, Daniel holds several residencies at popular DC watering holes, such as Eighteenth Street Lounge, Local 16, Wonderland Ballroom and L2 Lounge.
Daniel has extensive event experience, including dozens of wedding and formal celebrations. Because Daniel is not primarily a wedding DJ, he appeals to couples who are interested in more than your standard Wedding Reception soundtrack featuring the Chicken Dance and the Macarena. Daniel works with his clients in the months leading up to their wedding to help them create a playlist that uniquely reflects the couple getting married and one that is guaranteed to keep the party going all night … or until the venue kicks you out.
Daniel Musisi is available to DJ in the DC metro region, and he is available to travel outside the DC metro region for an additional fee. Included in his DJ services is the provision of all necessary equipment, including turntables, mixer, speakers, speaker stands, and a microphone.
